For personal injury firms
Medical-record chronologies and demand drafts, inside your firm.
Hundreds of pages of records per case. Per-case fees for cloud tools. Patient data in someone else's system.
A day with MyOfAI
Staff read through a stack of records page by page.
With MyOfAIThe system builds a treatment timeline from the records in your server.
Specials are totalled by hand from the bills.
With MyOfAIIt drafts a specials summary with references to the source documents.
The demand letter starts from a blank page or an old template.
With MyOfAIIt prepares a first draft, and a lawyer reviews and finishes it.
What goes in, what comes out
- Input
- Medical records, bills, police reports
- Output
- Treatment timeline, specials summary, first draft of the demand letter for lawyer review
- Why private
- No per-case fees and no patient records sent to an outside service
Step-by-step workflow
| Step | What the AI does | What the professional does |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Load the file | Reads the records and indexes them on your server. | A paralegal chooses the documents and checks that the file is complete. |
| 2. Build the timeline | Lists visits, providers and treatment by date, with a reference to the source page. | Spot-checks dates and providers against the records. |
| 3. Summarize specials | Pulls charges from the bills into a draft summary. | Confirms totals, removes duplicates and decides what to claim. |
| 4. Flag gaps | Points out date gaps and records that appear to be missing. | Decides what to request and follows up with providers. |
| 5. Draft the demand | Prepares a first draft from the timeline and your templates. | Reviews every fact, sets strategy and the amount, and finishes the letter. |
| 6. Ask questions | Answers questions about the file with references to the documents. | Opens the source page before relying on any answer. |
Documents it works with
The system reads the file types a PI practice collects. We confirm your formats during the assessment.
- Medical records and treatment notes from providers
- Medical bills and billing ledgers
- Police and incident reports
- Insurance correspondence and policy letters
- Photos and exhibits listed by file name, for reference only
- Prior demand letters your firm chooses to use as style examples
- Intake notes and client statements
What to prepare for a pilot
The pilot lasts 30 days and costs $1,500–3,000, credited in full toward setup. A little preparation makes the results easier to judge.
- Three to five closed matters, de-identified, with records of different lengths
- One finished chronology and demand letter for each, to compare against
- The names of the two or three people who will test it
- Your template or preferred format for chronologies and demand letters
- A short list of what a good result means to you, so scoring is agreed in advance
- A place for the server, or a conversation about which hardware suits your office
How your data is handled
Your documents, prompts and AI answers never leave the system. Optional health monitoring sends only technical metrics (uptime, CPU/GPU load, disk space, service status), never content. You can turn it off; alerts then go to your own email.
- With MyOfAI Box, records are processed on a server in your office.
- Roles and matter separation limit who can open each case.
- The audit log records who did what, and it is switched on at install.
- Remote support connects only when you ask, with MFA and a recorded session.
- Your documents are not used to train any model.
- Medical records can contain health information. Your firm remains responsible for how it handles them. See our HIPAA notice before sharing any live records.
Limits to know
- Every output is a draft. A lawyer reviews and signs off on all of it.
- Poor scans and handwriting can be read incorrectly. We test your typical records in the pilot.
- The system can miss an entry or misread a date, so references to source pages matter.
- It does not value a case, set a demand amount or predict an outcome.
- It does not include licensed case-law databases. Legal research stays in your research tool.
- Local open models can be less accurate than leading cloud models on some tasks. We test on your documents first.
- Large files take longer on smaller hardware. We size the system to your volume.
Pricing model comparison
Cloud PI tools charge per case or per seat. MyOfAI is a flat monthly fee.
| Model | How you pay | Reported price | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Per seat | A monthly price for each user, often on an annual commitment. | About $150–400 a user a month for PI-focused tools (third-party estimates) | Cost rises with headcount, including part-time staff. |
| Per case | A fee per case or prepaid credits, on a custom annual contract. | No public price | Cost rises with case volume. Ask whether unused credits expire. |
| Flat monthly (MyOfAI) | One support fee for your office tier, plus setup and hardware. No per-case or per-document charges. | From $1,800 a month for up to 20 users, plus setup from $9,000 | Higher up-front cost. Hardware is a separate line in your quote. |

Run the numbers for your firm
At these numbers cloud seats are about $33,835 cheaper. A private system makes sense if some documents should not leave your control.

Questions
Are there per-case or per-document fees?
No. You pay a flat monthly fee for your tier.
Does a lawyer still need to review the output?
Yes. Every chronology and draft is a starting point. A professional reviews every output.
Can we test it on real records?
The pilot runs on your de-identified test documents, and you score the results against agreed criteria.
Can it handle a file with thousands of pages?
We test your typical file sizes during the pilot and size the hardware to your volume. Larger files take longer to process.
Does it use our own demand letter style?
It can draft from the templates and examples you choose. A lawyer still edits the result.
Does it calculate what a case is worth?
No. It organizes the facts and drafts. Case value and the demand amount are decisions for the lawyer.
Does it connect to our case management software?
We review your systems during the assessment and tell you what is realistic.
What happens to pilot documents if we stop?
If you do not continue, your pilot data is deleted and you receive a certificate of deletion.
