For immigration firms
Review Spanish, Portuguese and Creole documents without sending them to the cloud.
Declarations and records in several languages. Sensitive personal details in every file. Too little time to read it all first.
Translation quality is tested during the pilot. Translations are working drafts, not certified translations.
A day with MyOfAI
A Spanish or Creole record waits for someone who reads the language.
With MyOfAIYour team gets a working translation and summary to review.
Staff compare declarations and exhibits by hand.
With MyOfAIYour team can search all the case documents at once, in any supported language.
Missing evidence turns up late.
With MyOfAIThe system drafts a checklist of what appears to be missing, for a lawyer to confirm.
What goes in, what comes out
- Input
- Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian Creole documents, client declarations
- Output
- Working translations, summaries, checklists of missing evidence
- Why private
- Sensitive personal files stay inside the firm
Step-by-step workflow
| Step | What the AI does | What the professional does |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Load the case | Reads the documents and indexes them on your server. | Staff choose the documents and label the case. |
| 2. Working translation | Prepares a working translation of each foreign-language document. | A bilingual team member checks names, dates and meaning. |
| 3. Summarize | Summarizes each document with a reference to the source. | Reads the source for anything that will be relied on. |
| 4. Compare statements | Lists differences in dates and facts across declarations and exhibits. | Decides whether a difference matters and asks the client. |
| 5. Evidence checklist | Compares the file with your checklist and lists what appears to be missing. | Confirms what is required for this case and requests it. |
| 6. First drafts | Drafts a declaration outline or cover letter from your templates. | Reviews, corrects and finishes every document before filing. |
Documents it works with
Immigration files mix languages and formats. We test the document types you handle most during the pilot.
- Client declarations in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole
- Birth, marriage and civil records, as working copies
- Country-condition reports and news articles your team collects
- Government notices and correspondence
- Employment, school and medical letters used as evidence
- Interview and intake notes
- Your firm's checklists for each case type
- Translations you already hold, so your team can compare them with the originals
What to prepare for a pilot
The pilot lasts 30 days and costs $1,500–3,000, credited in full toward setup. These items help you judge translation and summary quality fairly.
- Three to five closed matters, de-identified, covering your main case types
- Documents in each language you need, including poor scans if you often receive them
- A trusted human translation of a few documents, to compare against
- The bilingual team members who will score the results
- Your current evidence checklists and templates
- Agreed scoring criteria, written down before testing starts
How your data is handled
Your documents, prompts and AI answers never leave the system. Optional health monitoring sends only technical metrics (uptime, CPU/GPU load, disk space, service status), never content. You can turn it off; alerts then go to your own email.
- With MyOfAI Box, client files are processed on a server in your office.
- Roles and matter separation limit who can open each case.
- The audit log records who did what, and it is switched on at install.
- Remote support connects only when you ask, with MFA and a recorded session.
- Your documents are not used to train any model.
- Pilot testing uses de-identified documents. If you do not continue, pilot data is deleted and you receive a certificate of deletion.
Limits to know
- Translations are working drafts, not certified translations. They are not for filing.
- Quality varies by language, handwriting and scan quality. Creole may need more review than Spanish, so we test it rather than assume.
- The system can miss a nuance, a name spelling or a date. Check anything you rely on.
- It does not give legal advice or decide eligibility.
- It does not track filing deadlines or replace your case management system.
- It does not include licensed legal research databases, and it does not know current agency practice unless your documents say so.
- Local open models can be less accurate than leading cloud models on some tasks.
- It works only from the documents on your server. It does not look anything up on the internet, so missing facts stay missing until your team adds them.
Pricing model comparison
Cloud tools process your clients' files on someone else's systems. MyOfAI processes them on a server at your office.
| Model | How you pay | Reported price | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Per seat | A monthly price for each user, often on an annual commitment. | About $20–600 a user a month across general and legal AI tools | Cost rises with headcount. Check seat minimums and where files are processed. |
| Per case | A fee for each case or matter. | Not covered by our sources for immigration tools | Ask how the fee works for family or linked cases. |
| Flat monthly (MyOfAI) | One support fee for your office tier, plus setup and hardware. No seat minimums. | From $500 a month for up to 5 users, plus setup from $3,000 | Higher up-front cost. Hardware is a separate line in your quote. |
Our sources cover general and legal AI tools, not immigration-specific products. Figures are reported or estimated by third parties, and vendor prices vary by contract. Sources: Casefleet, updated October 1, 2026 · Vaquill, updated July 18, 2026
Run the numbers for your firm
At these numbers cloud seats are about $80,635 cheaper. A private system makes sense if some documents should not leave your control.

Questions
Are the translations certified?
No. They are working translations for your team. Filing still requires your usual certified translation process.
Which languages work best?
We test the languages you need during the pilot, using your own de-identified documents, so you can judge the quality.
Which languages do you work in?
We work in English and Russian. Spanish support is planned.
Can it read handwritten documents?
Sometimes, depending on the handwriting and the scan. Bring real examples to the pilot so you can judge the results.
Can we file the working translations?
No. They help your team read and review. Use your usual certified translation process for anything you file.
Does it keep up with changes in immigration rules?
Not by itself. It works from the documents you load, so your lawyers remain the source of current law and practice.
Can staff ask questions in other languages?
We test this in the pilot, using the languages your team works in.
